We had a wonderful time celebrating VE Day with a variety of exciting activities. Pupils created colourful bunting, flags, and detailed Spitfire models to mark the occasion. We brought the 1940s to life with a traditional street party, complete with music from the era that set the scene perfectly.
Later, our Year 5/6 pupils took the lead by organising and running outdoor games popular in the 1940s. They taught Year 2/3 how to play classics like hopscotch, jacks, marbles, pick-up sticks, and more. It was a fantastic day of learning, fun, and community spirit!
