We have been having a fantastic time with Vickie from Pigtown theatres these past few weeks. 

We have been learning all about how Monks lived and worked in the local Abbey in Greenfield many years ago – all through the medium of creative arts. Making Tapestries and creating characters and freezeframes. 

All classes helped out with our recycling .Recycling 12.5 KG of plastic which stopped 75 KG of CO2 going into the atmosphere .Recycling 50.51 KG of paper which stopped 141.42KG CO2 going into the atmosphere .Well done to all.   

On Wednesday 26^th of November 3 Eco Council children went to the COP30 event in Bangor. The event was run by Keep Tidy Wales .The children learnt about how produce is farmed in other countries is impacting on our eco systems. They also learnt more about deforestation . They also took part in a panel discussion sharing their Eco ideas.

What an effort from the lads in the John McBrien Trophy at Ysgol Treffynnon.

Cruised through the group stages and past the semi finals – only to lose by a narrow 3-2 defeat after going 2-0 up in the final. Great spirit showed by Ysgol Glan Aber in their comeback win and we were happy to secure the runner up spot.
